Mole Valley Farmers commissioned Feral Creative to produce a product-led lifestyle campaign for Mole Value, its everyday value range for rural, equine and agricultural customers. We delivered a combined film and stills campaign, built for Google P-Max, paid social and organic channels, with flexible edits designed to promote key products while reflecting the people who use them.

About

Mole Valley Farmers came to Feral Creative with a clear commercial challenge: to launch Mole Value in a way that felt bigger than a price-led retail message. As a major retail and wholesale business, supplying feed, farm shops, rural households and agricultural customers, with turnover in excess of half a billion pounds, the campaign needed to speak with scale while staying rooted in people’s everyday working life. The development process was central to the project. We worked through multiple creative routes with the Mole Valley Farmers team, refining ideas through a practical back and forth that balanced brand ambition, product priorities and production reality. The final approach was built around real routines, real environments and the quiet value of products that support the every day. Understanding the audience shaped every decision. Rural dwellers were treated as an aspirational lifestyle audience, upwardly mobile, culturally aware, and connected to the land. The equine audience needed to see the rhythm, care, and commitment of the wider equestrian sector. The agricultural audience needed scale, credibility, and a world that looked like their own, from yards and stores to working farms.

The challenge was to create something with high production value without allowing the budget to spiral. We built the campaign around strong locations, careful scheduling, and a visual language that connected products to people. Rather than simply showing items on shelves, we placed them inside the moments that matter: early starts, feeding rounds, yard work, field jobs, and the often solitary graft behind rural life. Across the shoots, our role was to keep the days calm, productive and responsive.

We planned thoroughly, but stayed flexible enough to adapt to weather, livestock, locations, and the opportunities that appeared on the day. Mole Valley Farmers were included in creative decisions as they happened, ensuring product priorities were protected while the photography and film retained a natural, lifestyle-led feel. In post-production, the campaign became a highly versatile content package. Alongside post-produced still images aligned with the wider Mole Value look and feel, Feral delivered 60 different film versions, covering different sectors, aspect ratios and durations for PMax and social media. This gave Mole Valley Farmers a product-led campaign with authentic rural storytelling, strong commercial flexibility, and maximum return from the shoot.

"Feral Creative was a pleasure to partner with from start to finish. They took the time to really understand our business, our customers and what we wanted to achieve, bringing fresh creative thinking while working closely with us throughout the process. Their collaborative approach helped bring our vision to life in a way that felt authentic to our brand, and their attention to detail ensured the final campaign truly reflected who we are. They felt like an extension of our team, and that's exactly what you hope for in a creative partner."
