Feral Creative’s rebrand marks more than a new name and website. It reflects a shift from production company to creative agency, shaped by the rise of AI, changing client needs and an unsustainable pay-per-video model.

Above all, the new direction is designed to create more value for our clients by strengthening ideas, campaigns, relationships and long-term results.

About

For more than a decade, Feral built its reputation through film and broadcast production. That experience remains central to the business, but the environment around it has changed. Clients need more content, in more forms, for more channels, while advances in AI are rapidly altering how creative work is conceived, produced and valued.

A pay-per-video model increasingly feels too narrow for that reality. It places value mainly on the final deliverable, rather than on the thinking, experience and intellectual property that make the work effective. Our move from Feral Film & Broadcast to Feral Creative formalises a broader, more useful role: helping clients define the challenge, develop the idea and build a campaign before production begins.

The rebrand and new website were created to express that change clearly. We reviewed how we described the business, organised our work and presented our capabilities. Instead of leading with individual production formats, the new site focuses on campaigns, creative thinking and outcomes. It shows how film can work alongside photography, copy, design, social content and audience insight to create a more coherent and valuable body of work.

This direction is not about adding services for the sake of appearing bigger. It is about giving clients better answers. By becoming involved earlier, we can challenge assumptions, sharpen briefs and ensure that production budgets are invested in ideas with a clear purpose. We can also plan deliverables more intelligently, creating connected assets that serve different audiences and moments without simply producing more content.

The process required us to examine our own identity with the same discipline we bring to client work. The refreshed brand needed to feel established but energetic, creative without becoming decorative, and flexible enough to support everything from campaign presentations to finished productions. The website had to be straightforward, editorial and easy to navigate, while giving individual projects enough space to explain the thinking behind them.

Most importantly, the change is intended to support stronger, longer-term client relationships. Rather than treating each commission as an isolated transaction, we want to help clients build ideas over time, learn from what performs and create greater value from every production.

Feral Creative is still grounded in making excellent work. The difference is that production now sits within a wider strategic and creative process, one designed to keep our clients relevant, protect the value of original ideas and deliver work that remains useful long after launch in a changing market.
